
Elliot Lake, Ontario is a beautiful, modern city of approximately 11,500 citizens. Its located in Northern Ontario between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie and just 2 1/2 hours east of Michigan at the top of the i75 interstate. Snowmobile trails are maintained and groomed by a very active and professional club, the Elliot Lake Snowbirds. Chuck’s Roadhouse, Fireside Inn, McDonalds and Tim Hortons are food and beverage stops right in Elliot Lake and accessible from the trail system. There are 2 fuel stations, one is an Esso, again on the trail system and right beside highway 108. The other is Canadian Tire, which is indirectly accessible via snowmobile. During winter months, there are 2 accommodation locations: The Hampton Inn and Dunlop Lake Lodge. Both are accessible from the trail system. Dunlop Lake Lodge is located 14kms north of downtown Elliot Lake and is a year-round lodge including restaurant and bar. It is accessible via highway 108 north and the OFSC trail system.
